The Amazon Buy-Box : prime positioning on the Amazon site
Amazon has recently launched the concept of the “Buy-Box” as part of it’s Seller Central programme. Previously, buyers who clicked on the “Add to Basket” button on the product page were obliged to buy from Amazon. This space has now been made competitive, meaning that third party sellers can compete with Amazon for that “Buy-Box”. This is a huge advantage for sellers, allowing them access to the prime retail space on the Amazon site, and the subsequent boost in sales. This process is a win-win for all concerned. The seller gets more sales, Amazon makes money by taking a commission on the sales, and the buyer wins by getting a better price or by finding a product from a third party that Amazon itself does not stock.

Sellermania helps you to unlock the Buy-Box
The Sellermania solution analyses the stock level of each seller and calculates the best price for each item.
Competitors and pricing change every second on Amazon – obtaining the Buy-box without the aid of software is virtually impossible. At Sellermania, we help sellers to maximize their potential with the minimum of effort.
Sellers can sell more than even Amazon
Up until recently, Amazon has kept access to the Buy-Box purely to itself, even if a merchant had stock and Amazon was sold out. As part of the Seller Central programme, eligible merchants can beat Amazon to the Buy-Box, which has been impossible up to now. Categories with high turnover of items such as Video Games, Consumer Electronics, Appliances and Toys are particularly good examples of areas where third party sellers can truly compete with Amazon.
